A case against three business firms of the same person for defrauding revenue of Rs

The Revenue Investigation Department has registered a case in the Patan High Court with the demand that they should be fined around 4 crores and sentenced to imprisonment for the charge of evading revenue by creating fake VAT bills and dealing in goods and services.

KK & K Liquor Shop dealing in buying and selling of liquor at Chunikhel in Budhanilkanth, KK & K Store at Bashundhara in Budhanilkanth and PK Enterprises operating at the same address were found to have falsified revenue on various dates. 

The information officer of the department Navraj Adhikari informed that a case was registered against Rajan KC, the main person of all the three firms. According to the department, the case was filed after it was found that KC sold goods without issuing invoices, prepared false accounts and evaded taxes, took goods without invoices and sold goods without issuing invoices and only issued invoices without transferring services.  According to the statement issued by the

 According to the notification, 19.99 million 85 thousand 868 has been maintained towards price increase and the demand has been claimed to recover the said amount including 100% penalty.  In a statement issued by Krishna Kumari Shrestha, Deputy Director General of the

department, the demand for imprisonment has been claimed in accordance with Section 23, Sub-Section 1(b) of the Revenue Leakage Act. The department has filed a case of 1 billion 46 crore revenue fraud in a week. On the 22nd of Baisakh last year, a case was registered in the Patan High Court against Dhruv Dev, the owner of Dhruv Construction Company, on the charge of defrauding 1.21 billion revenue. 

The company has also been accused of VAT and income tax evasion. Dhruv has also been demanded to be jailed. Last Baisakh, the second seven departments filed a case against Shyam Bastralaya through the Itahari office in the Janakpur High Court demanding revenue recovery of 21 crores. The owner of Bastralaya, Shyam Prasad Gupta, has been demanded to be imprisoned.
