Participating in the discussion on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming financial year in the Tuesday meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Bista said that the principles and priorities put forward by the bill are fundamentally correct.
MP Bista emphasized that the budget should also address the rapid development of the youth at the present time. The 16th plan has given guidelines for the development and economy of the country for five years. For a long time, there have been some serious development challenges in Nepal. Especially, low economic growth, low production and productivity, public spending and resource mobilization, he said.
Economic growth or per capita income obtained by earning one percent is no longer needed, Bista emphasizes that the basis of socialism should be prepared in order to elevate the life of the basic class, to increase the wages and productivity of workers, and to distribute natural resources and benefits of the state fairly.
