There has been a general decline in the price of gold in the international market. It has also affected the local market.
Compared to last Friday, the price of gold has decreased by 300 rupees per tola today. Silver has increased by 10 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, today the price of one tola of gold has been fixed at 190,500. Similarly, one tola of silver is being sold at 1,970.
On Friday, gold was bought and sold at 1,90,800 per tola and the same amount of silver at 1,960 rupees.
In the international market today, one ounce of gold is being traded at three thousand 271 US dollars, according to the international media.
