NEPSE decreased, turnover increased

The share price of 96 companies increased, the price of 150 companies decreased, 37 million 99 thousand 91 shares were bought and sold.

NEPSE decreased, turnover increased

The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, has decreased by 12.04 points. The NEPSE, which had risen continuously for the previous two trading days, fell on Thursday. This week, the NEPSE, which decreased on Sunday and Monday, increased by 1.03 points on Tuesday and 62.25 points on Wednesday. Before that, the NEPSE had fallen continuously for five trading days.

Compared to Wednesday, NEPSE decreased by 0.45 percent to 2,661.64 points on Thursday. Out of the total 13 sub-groups traded on that day, share prices of finance, hydropower, life insurance, manufacturing and processing and collective investment funds increased.

Similarly, the index of finance company sub-group increased by 104.93, hydropower by 1.17, life insurance by 1.70, production and processing by 12.30 and collective investment fund by 0.001 points. Among the declining sub-groups were trade, non-life insurance, microfinance, hotel and tourism, development bank, banking and others. 

The share price of 96 companies increased while the price of 150 companies decreased. A total of 3 crore 7 lakh 99 thousand 91 shares were bought and sold. On the last trading day of the week, 113,399 shares were traded worth 11.65 billion rupees.

transaction volume is highest since February 21, 2081. On February 20, 2081, shares worth 12.94 billion 64 million rupees were traded. Then on Chait 3, 10 billion 79 crore 73 lakh rupees and on 14 Chait 10 billion 87 crore 59 lakh rupees were traded. On Wednesday, 10.51 billion 84 million rupees were traded, while on Thursday, 11.65 billion rupees were traded.

After the share price of Nepal Micro Insurance Company and Crest Micro Life Insurance Company increased by 10 percent, the transaction had to be controlled through a circuit breaker. On that day, NEPSE stated that the share price of Chyangdi Hydropower increased by 9.99%, Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals by 9.99% and ICFC Finance by 9.74%.

Sindhu Bikas Bank 4.15, Green Development Bank 3.83, Himalayan Power Partner 3.34, Butwal Power Company 3.29 and Narayani Bikas Bank 3.17 percent share price decreased. Based on turnover, Ngadi Group Power, Sanima My Hydropower, Universal Power Company, Radhi Electricity Company and Api Power Company were ahead.  Neppas has said that the share trading of Rs 5,95 million of 6,96 million, 63 million of Power Company of 7,65 million, 639 million, 63.8 million of Rs. 6326 million, 63.8 million and 166 million of Rs.
