The Nepal Electricity Authority has asked the industrialists who have arrears of dedicated feeder and truck line fees to come in appeal by depositing 5 percent of the arrears in cash or a bank guarantee bond issued for a period of one year before the end of May.

The authority on Friday  By issuing a public notice, the deadline for filing an appeal has been fixed for one month. 

The board meeting held on May 21 decided to issue a notice to the industrialists to come back within a month. Earlier, the board meeting held on 29th of Chait 081 had decided to reduce the 25 percent bond amount to 5 percent. But so far no industrialist had gone to the authority for appeal.

'from dedicated feeder and truck line 2072  Customers who have consumed electricity from January to May 2075 and are in arrears of electricity tariff can file an application for administrative appeal in accordance with sub-regulation (1) of regulation 55 of the Act Regulation by the end of June 2082 by depositing an amount equal to 5 percent of the bill amount in cash or an equivalent one-year bank guarantee bond issued with a maturity of one year. The deadline has been fixed,' the notification issued by the authority states.
