Along with the general increase in the price of gold in the international market, its impact has also been felt in the local market. Today the tola has increased by 600 rupees.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of one tola of gold has remained at Rs 192,200. Similarly, one tola of silver is being sold at one thousand 955 rupees.
On Wednesday, gold was bought and sold at 191,600 rupees per tola and the same amount of silver at 1,965 rupees.
In the international market today, one ounce of gold is being traded at three thousand 395 US dollars, according to the international media.
