The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, fell by 9.62 points on Monday. Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE decreased by 0.36 percent and closed at 2,610.76 points.

The NEPSE, which had fallen continuously for the previous four trading days, followed the same trend on Monday as well. Investors have been discouraged due to continuous decline in NEPSE.

86 companies traded on that day, the share price of 86 companies increased, 159 companies decreased, and one company remained stable.  1 crore 84 lakh 37 thousand 942 shares were bought and sold in 65 thousand 884 share transactions.

There has been a transaction worth 7 billion 63 crore 41 lakh rupees in those purchases.  Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has also decreased. Shares worth 9 billion 245 million rupees were traded in the stock market on Sunday.

Among the 13 sub-groups that came into trading on Monday, the index of microfinance, collective investment fund and non-life insurance rose by normal points. After the index of all other sub-groups decreased, the overall NEPSE has almost double-digit decline.
