The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, decreased by 3.44 points. The overall NEPSE has decreased by 0.13 percent to 2,620.39 points.

A total of 117 companies' share prices increased while 128 companies' prices decreased.  On the first day of the week on Sunday, 81 thousand 985 times of buying and selling of shares worth 9 billion 245 million 83 thousand rupees were done. Today 2 crore 19 lakh 5 thousand 311 shares were bought and sold. All sub-groups declined except

banking, development banks, hotels and tourism, manufacturing and processing and non-life insurance. Declining subgroups were led by business, life insurance, finance. 

The share price of Nepal Micro Insurance Company, Crest Micro Life Insurance and Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals increased by 10 percent and caused a circuit break. The share price of WIN Nepal microfinance financial institution fell by 10 percent and caused a circuit break.
