'We will be lacking And the power supply from India has been extended for two months till June,' he said, 'India has helped us in times of need, and we are very grateful for continuing the power supply for two more months even if it is one hour less.'
He said that the power cuts in the industrial sector will also decrease due to the increase in flow in the country's rivers and canals. "Until now, it was possible to import electricity for 16 hours a day, but now it is only possible to import electricity for 15 hours," he said, "from Dhalkebar-Muzaffarpur, electricity can be imported from 6 am to 5 pm (solar hour) and from 2 pm to 6 am."

After March 15, electricity was being imported for 16 hours a day. Electricity was being imported from 6 am to 5 pm and from 11 pm to 4 am.
Nepal has been purchasing electricity through competition in the day-ahead and real-time markets of India's Indian Energy Exchange Limited (IEX). According to this, 'bidding' is done with the price and quantity on the day before the purchase.
Up to 500 megawatts have been imported from IEX so far in the afternoon. Nepal has also been importing electricity from the Nepal-India Power Exchange Committee (PEC).
