Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of petroleum products. Effective from Wednesday midnight, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 2 per litre, diesel/kerosene by Rs 1 and jet fuel by Rs 4.
The corporation informed through a statement that the price has been adjusted according to the new purchase price of petroleum products received from Indian Oil Corporation on Wednesday.
Now consumers will have to pay Rs 158 per liter of petrol and Rs 145 per liter of diesel/kerosene.
Cooking gas per cylinder has been reduced by 15 rupees 70 paisa, but the corporation has kept it as it is.
