The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, fell by 8.14 points on Wednesday. Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE decreased by 0.30 percent and closed at 2,623.83 points.

The NEPSE, which had fallen continuously on the previous two trading days, followed the same trend on Tuesday as well. However, compared to the previous two days, the rate of decline on Tuesday has decreased.

The share price of 107 companies that came into trading that day increased while 136 decreased. 

2 crore 64 lakh 41 thousand 261 shares were bought and sold in 79 thousand 777 share transactions. Shares worth 9 billion 37 crore 41 lakh rupees have been traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has also decreased. Shares worth 7.57 billion 52 lakh rupees were traded in the stock market on Tuesday.

Among the 13 sub-groups traded on that day, indices of hydropower, microfinance, collective investment fund and business sub-groups increased. After the decline of all other indices, overall NEPSE has declined.
