The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, has improved by a normal point on Sunday.

Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE increased by 3.58 points (0.13 percent) and closed at 2,661.60 points. NEPSE, which closed down by 2 points last Thursday, followed the same trend on Sunday as well.

Out of the 104 companies that came into trading that day, their share prices increased while 141 companies decreased.  

89 thousand 161 times of share trading, 284 million 38 thousand 428 shares were bought and sold. Shares worth 10 billion 875 million rupees have been traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, along with the NEPSE index, the transaction amount also increased. Shares worth 7.87 billion 93 million rupees were traded last Thursday.

Among the 13 subgroups that came into business that day, the indices of hotels and tourism, hydropower, investment, production and processing, collective investment funds and trade increased. According to NEPSE, the index of the rest of the subgroups has decreased.
