Siddharth Hospitality under Siddharth Group is going to upgrade the Siddharth Riverside Resort in Chumlingtar, Chitwan to a four-star resort.

Kiran Rimal, board member of Siddharth Hospitality and cluster manager of the area informed that the resort operating under Siddharth Batika brand is being upgraded and preparations are being made to operate under Siddharth Vaibhav brand. "The work of upgradation of the resort has reached the final stage, the work is being done to complete the construction by the end of June this year," he said. According to Rimal, the hotel will be of four-star level after the upgrade.

The number of rooms and 99 beds will reach 64 rooms and 99 beds from the current 26 rooms and 56 beds. He also said that the facilities of the president room with outdoor and indoor jacuzzi will also be added. "After the upgrade, a grand deluxe room of 425 square feet will also be built, which will have facilities including a bathtub," he said.

Apart from that, with the aim of promoting Nepali food and culture, a deck restaurant with a capacity of 80 people will be operated to enjoy the beautiful view of the Trishuli River and enjoy the water music of the river.

According to Rimal, after the upgrade, there will be an all-day dining facility that can accommodate hundreds of people, a beautiful spacious garden, a swimming pool, a separate playground, a grocery store within the resort, and a cultural dance that promotes Gurung and Magar culture every Friday. Rimal said that upgrading has been started in tourist destinations including Pokhara and Bandipur targeting the increasing number of tourists and corporate events. There is also a separate restaurant for customers traveling through this highway and charging facilities for electric vehicle users. He said that 60 people are currently employed in the resort and 85 people will be employed after upgrading.

Rimal said that since the dam of the Super Trishuli hydropower project will be built near the resort, the organization will support the tourism development here. After upgrading the resort, a package will be made targeting tourists going to Pokhara, Mankamana Mandir and Bandipur, it is expected to help in the promotion of tourism here, he said.
