Chandra Dhakal, President of Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce, has said that investment in tourism and hydropower will be increased to increase youth employment. He said that the government has also initiated an investment friendly environment.

He also said that since foreign investors are trying to come to invest in Nepal, the government should create an environment. He is also of the opinion that Nepal can become self-sufficient if investment is increased in the development of tourism, hydropower and agriculture. Dhakal said in the greeting exchange program organized by Dhorpatan Daily published from Baglung, employment can be increased if foreigners also increase their investment.

He also said that since the government has agreed to the agenda set by the third executive meeting of the federation held in Dhorpatan valley last year, the way for investment-friendly conditions will be opened next year. He was of the opinion that if the businessmen who have invested can be respected, unemployment will also disappear.

He says that the government has started to complete the agenda including the reduction of interest by banks and the repeal of the Black Market Act. Due to this, Dhakal said that he wanted to avoid the impact of the global economic crisis. According to him, the decision of the executive meeting of the federation held in Dhorpatan valley that year has become an investment-friendly environment due to the interest of banks and the government.
