For the month of Baisakh, three commercial banks have increased the interest rate of one-year personal term deposits, while two have reduced it. The remaining 15 banks have kept the interest rate of one-year term deposits fixed.

In Baisakh, the average maximum interest rate of one-year term deposits has remained at 6.025 percent and minimum at 4.061 percent . The average maximum interest rate of term deposits in Chait is 6.014 and minimum 4.051 percent.

Similarly, out of 20 commercial banks, one bank has increased the interest rate of ordinary savings for Baisakh and one has decreased it . According to which, the average maximum interest rate of ordinary savings in commercial banks for Baisakh has been maintained at 4.414 percent and minimum at 3.013 percent. This March, the interest rate was 4.464 and 3.013 percent respectively.

Banks and financial institutions have been reducing the deposit interest rates every month. At the same time, the new interest rate has also been published for Baisakh.
