NEPSE decreased by 5.57 points

The NEPSE index fell by 5.57 points on the last day of trading on Thursday. The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, has decreased by 0.20 percent to 2,670.70 points.

On Wednesday, NEPSE increased by 9.66 points and closed at 2,676.28 points. But on Thursday it decreased to 2670.70 points. Share prices of 114 companies that came into trading on Thursday increased, 131 companies decreased and one company's price remained stable.

A total of 49 thousand 632 shares have been traded worth 5 billion 63 crore 79 lakh rupees. The turnover has increased compared to the previous day. On Wednesday, there was a transaction worth 4 billion 48 crore 46 lakh rupees. A total of 1 crore 13 lakh 84 thousand 725 shares were bought and sold. Only investors in the development bank, hydropower, microfinance and mutual fund sub-groups saw asset value increase. Other investors' assets fell in value. Manufacturing and processing decreased by 62.33 points, life insurance by 43.28 points, hotel and tourism by 26.51 points and non-life insurance by 24.82 points.

Nepal micro insurance company, Crest Micro Life Insurance's share price increased by 9.98 percent. The price of Sindhu Development Bank increased by 7.98%, Win Nepal Microfinance by 7.28% and Divyashwari Hydropower by 5.90%. Investors in Bottlers Nepal (Balaju), Himalayan Power Partners, Shubham Power, Nepal Republic Media and Ghorahi Cement lost the value of their assets.

Radhi Power Company, NRN Infrastructure and Development, Himalayan Reinsurance, CEDB Holdings, Ngadi Power Group were ahead in terms of turnover. 3594 lakh 71 thousand shares of Radhi Electricity Company and 359 million 29 lakh 18 thousand rupees of NRN Infrastructure and Development have been traded. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance 305 million 45 thousand, CEDB Holdings 292 million 46 thousand and Ngadi Power Group's shares worth 26 million 56 million have been traded.
