The government has already announced 120 industrial villages in accordance with the policy of 'one local level: one industrial village' from the financial year 2076/77. According to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, 1 billion 51 crore 17 lakh rupees have been sent to the declared industrial villages so far.

According to the ministry, Madane of Gulmi and Melekh Rural Municipality of Achham are among those who receive the most amount. According to the statistics of the Ministry of Industry, these two rural municipalities took 3.3 million rupees.

According to the ministry, industrial villages have been constructed and operational in Madane of Gulmi, Melekh Rural Municipality of Achham, Ambukhaireni of Tanahun and Arjunchoupari of Syangja. 92 million rupees and Syangja's Arjun Choupari has taken 22 million rupees. 

Amargadhi Municipality has taken Rs 2 crore 72 lakh, Rainash Municipality Rs 2 crore 42 lakh, Walling Municipality Rs 2 crore 34 lakh . According to the statistics of the ministry, 57 municipalities took 92 lakh rupees per municipality.

The government announced industrial villages in 120 municipalities including 11 in Koshi, 11 in Madhesh, 19 in Bagmati, 29 in Gandaki, 25 in Lumbini, 9 in Karnali and 16 in Sudurpaschim. Among them, Kaudena Rural Municipality of Madhesh, Shuklagandaki Municipality of Gandaki and Punarwas Municipality of Sudurpaschim have not been disbursed even Rs 92 lakh for the first installment, according to the ministry.

Industrial villages are being built in 120 municipalities with the participation of union, state and local levels. After the local level prepares the detailed study report (DPR) of the industrial village, the federal government only gives funds to build the physical infrastructure. The ministry said that the federal government has given a budget of 92 lakh rupees to each municipality for the first installment. The government announced 45 industrial villages in 2076, 29 in 2077, 32 in 2078, 8 in 2079 and 6 in 2080.
