134 people from 30 countries took permission to climb Mount Everest alone

With the start of the spring mountain climbing season, the number of foreign climbers coming to Nepal has increased. According to Director of Tourism Department Aarti Neupane, till Tuesday 381 people from 57 countries including Nepal have taken permission from the department at Bhrikutimandap to climb 15 mountains including Mount Everest.
According to the department, 134 people from 30 countries including Nepal have taken permission to climb Mount Everest from February 17 to Chait 26. Among them, there are 27 women and 107 men. 42 from America, 19 from China, 17 from India, 6 from Australia, 5/5 from Canada and Brazil are among those who take the highest number of permits to climb Mount Everest.
Department has collected a salami fee of 245.2 million rupees while issuing mountain climbing permits. The salami fee collected for climbing Mount Everest is 20 million 16 million rupees .
According to the department, 66 people have taken permission for Annapurna I after Everest, 48 for Amadabbalam, 40 for Makalu, 30 for Lhotse, 20 for Kanchenjunga, 12 for Himlung, 9 for Thorang Peak, 8 for Annapurna IV, 4 for Pokerkhang.
