Bishnu Khanal, engineer of the Suryavinayak-Dhulikhel, Dhulikhel-Sindhuli-Bardibas road project of the road department, said that since a month ago, the expansion work has been stopped in an area of ​​about 200 meters in Pulbazar area.

 According to him, the extension work has been stopped for a month after the locals raised obstruction regarding the issue of the center line in Pulbazar area of ​​the under-construction road section.

He said that preparations are being made to move forward with the expansion work soon by removing obstacles and coordinating between the Napi Department, local people's representatives and locals. According to him, there has been some disruption in Pulbazar area of ​​Banepa. In other places, the work is being done rapidly.

'Now the speed of work has increased in Dhulikhel area,' he said, 'After completing the wall, drain and pavement work in one kilometer area, preparations are being made to pave the road.' Ravindra Shrestha, engineer of construction business Lama Construction Company Limited, informed that along with the obstruction of the local people in the road expansion work, there are also problems such as removing houses and roofs, extending electric poles, removing optical fiber lines and high tension poles. gave

'In Sanga-Dhulikhel road, 3 in Nasikasthan, 2 in Janagal, 1 in Budol and 1 in 28 Kilo, 9 house-towers will have to be removed,' he said, '70 percent of the electricity pole moving work has been completed, now 30 percent is left, there is a high-tension pole in 1 place, it will also have to be moved.' The progress of work up to Bansghari is good . He said that in the areas of 28 Kilo, Budol, Banepa and Pulbazar, there are various problems such as local obstacles, houses and roofs need to be removed.

According to him, the work has been stopped for a month due to the obstruction of the locals in Banepa's Pulbazar . He said that due to these problems, the work will not be completed within the specified time limit. He says that there will be no budget problem for the expansion till this financial year. 

After two years of the expansion of the Sanga-Dhulikh road section, only 45 percent physical progress has been made so far in the Suryavinayak-Dhulikhel, Dhulikhel-Sindhuli-Bardibas road project of the road department. The road expansion work was started two years ago to be completed within three years. As only 45 percent of physical progress has been seen in two years, doubts have been raised that the construction will be completed on time.
