On the last day of weekly trading on Thursday, the NEPSE index closed with an increase of 3.35 points. Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE increased by 0.12 percent to 2,739 points. NEPSE rose by 23.86 points to 2700 points on Wednesday.
NEPSE, which reached 2,732.49 at 12.24 pm on Thursday, fell to 2,733 at the close of trading.
On that day, the share price of a total of 93 companies increased while the price of 151 companies decreased. 7 billion 84 crore 46 lakh 42 thousand rupees were traded through 69 thousand 89 share buying and selling on Thursday. A total of 1 crore 55 lakh 2 thousand 998 shares were bought and sold on that day. Except for
banking, hydropower, non-life insurance and others, all other sub-groups declined. According to this, the index of banking sub-group increased by 13.13, Hydropower by 1.38, non-life insurance by 72.49 and others by 35.47 points. However, the index of life insurance sub-group decreased by 90.20, trade 81.22, manufacturing and processing 70.24 and finance company 41.97 points, NEPSE said.
Green Ventures Limited was among the top gainers on Thursday. The share price of this company increased by 9.99 percent. Share price of Super Madi Hydropower increased by 6.95%, Radhi Electricity Company by 4.90%, NLG Insurance Company by 4.63%, Nepal SBI Bank Bond 2089 by 2.75% and Universal Power Company by 2.73%.
The share price of Himalayan Re-Insurance increased by 2.70, Nepal Re-Insurance Company by 2.27, Sanima Debenture 2089 by 2 and BOK Debenture 2086(a) by 2 percent.
Investors of Upkar Microfinance, Win Nepal Microfinance, Guardian Micro Life Insurance, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju), Kumari Sabal Yojana, NIBL Stable Fund, Balefi Hydropower, Gurans Microfinance, Manakamana Engineering Hydropower, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower lost a lot on that day. Himalayan Re-Insurance is at the forefront in terms of
transactions. The shares of this company have been traded worth 72 crore 32 lakh 38 thousand rupees. Nepal Re-Insurance Company 5599922000 shares, NRN Infrastructure and Development's 429795000000 shares and Himalayan Power Partner's 342249000000 shares were traded, according to NEPSE.
According to NEPSE data, shares of Radhi Electricity Company are 3287 million 22 thousand, CEDB Holdings is 23 million 76 million 56 thousand, Guardian Micro Life Insurance is 184 million 42 million 69 thousand, Mountain Energy Nepal is 165 million 71 thousand, Ngadi Power Group is 15 million 48 million 90 thousand and Kumari Bank is 14 million 76 million 78 thousand rupees.
