The Sheer Jugal snow range of Jugal rural municipality is well known for those who are interested in mountain climbing and mountain tourism. Ne-Pemasal-Bumbasherbur, the base camp of the mountain at an altitude of 4,500 meters in Jugal Rural Municipality-3, is more famous.

For the younger generation, this beautiful lap of the peak is becoming a training ground. A week ago at Jugal's base camp, 10 local youths were given basic training on mountain climbing. 

was organized by Jugal Rural Municipality and training was given with the support of 'Equator Nepal Trek Expedition, In Your Hands'. According to Milan Tamang, coordinator of Jugal Tourism Committee, ten young people who are interested in this area were selected to be represented from all over Jugal Rural Municipality in this training organized for the first time.

"In two weeks of this three-week training, from Chhindang, which is considered a famous shrine here, to the base camp, mountain climbing and its skills have been taught in practical terms," ​​he said. He said that the qualified participants were taken to the snow area after practicing rock climbing before going to the snow covered area. 

participants were not only shown the Jugal Himal, but were also given information about the history, geography, religion and culture of Sindhupalchok district. Others, including some mountaineer instructors, used trekking maps, first aid training, map navigation, and other mountain climbing materials and preparations to be taught.

On Tuesday, Madhav Sapkota, Federal Member of House of Representatives 1, State Member of Parliament Saral Sahayatri Paudel, Jugal Rural Municipality President Resham Syangbo, Sukute Tourism Business Association Sindhupalchok Mahendrasin Thapa, Rural Municipality Administrative Officer Lok Bahadur Vick distributed training certificates to the participants. 

Before this, Glazen Peak (Phurpa Jyo Jyo Peak), one of the 11 peaks of the Jugal Ice Range at a height of 6,151 meters, has been climbed twice. According to the famous Bajrayana tradition of Buddhism, from the Ne-Sam River in Jugal to Nimadoma, Lakyap, Tembathang, Deepu, and Tega, the snow chain area is considered as Tirtha.

Moreover, the vast forested area at the foot of Jugal and Samathar plain Ne-Pemasal means the heaven of the gods. The Tongkyup cave and plain here are believed to be the abode of Bajraguru Padmasambhava (Rimpoche) of the famous Bajrayana sect of Buddhism and the abode of Chendang Palden Mam Devi. Apart from these, the source of Bramhayani river, the cave where thousands of people can fit, Jyuthi Gap Khark, Bumbasherbu, Nekhark, Bumbasherbu, Shyabal pond have their own religious importance and beauty.  The participants in the

training covered the Jugal Himal on foot along with the mountain climbing training. He became proficient by practicing mountain climbing at the lower part of the peak here. According to Jugal Rural Municipality, the goal is to promote tourism and produce mountain guides through the training.
