On Tuesday, along with the overall NEPSE index, the share turnover also fell. NEPSE, which has increased by double digits for the previous three days, fell by 16.95 points on Tuesday. Compared to Sunday, the overall NEPSE decreased by 0.62 percent to 2676.17 points.
On Sunday, NEPSE rose by 29.82 points and closed at 2,693.12 points.
NEPSE increased by 39.13 points last Wednesday and 41.43 points on Thursday. The NEPSE rose by 110 points in the previous three trading days. This is the reason why some short-term investors started selling shares to save profits (profit book) and the market had a negative impact on Tuesday.
With the decline of NEPSE, the size of the stock market (total market capitalization) has also shrunk to 44 trillion 43 billion rupees. On Sunday, the total market capitalization was 44 trillion 71 billion rupees.

On Tuesday, Guardian Micro Life Insurance's share price surged by 10 percent as trading was controlled through a circuit breaker. Share prices of Radhi Electricity Company increased by 4.28%, Sayapatri Hydropower by 4.15%, Vishal Bazar Company by 4.06% and Kumari Sabal Yojana by 3.28%.
The share price of investors decreased by 5.56% of Gurans Microfinance Financial Institution, 4.36% of Chyangdi Hydropower, 4.05% of Upkar Microfinance Financial Institution, 3.65% of Dordi Khola Jalvidyutco and 3.54% of RBB Mutual Fund 2.
Himalayan Reinsurance, NRN Infrastructure and Development, CEDB Holdings, Nepal Reinsurance Company, Himalayan Power Partner were ahead in terms of transaction amount.
