On the first day of weekly trading, the NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, closed with an increase of almost 30 points. Along with this, enthusiasm has started to be seen in the stock market in recent days. NEPSE, which has been continuously falling in the first week of this March, has been continuously increasing since the last three trading sessions.

Last Wednesday and Thursday, NEPSE increased by 39.13 and 41.43 points respectively. On Sunday, the NEPSE index reached 2,693.12 points after following the growth of the previous two trading days.

This is the highest since Chait 5. On March 5, NEPSE was at 2,697.04 points. Since then, the NEPSE fell to 2,582.87 points last Tuesday. In the last few days, NEPSE has started to rise again after it started increasing continuously. 

7 billion 56 crore 82 lakh 26 thousand rupees were traded on Sunday. Last Wednesday, 4 billion 204 million rupees and Thursday 5 billion 223 million rupees were traded. Compared to last Wednesday and Thursday, the turnover on Sunday has also increased. 

On Sunday, the share price of 222 companies increased while the price of 22 companies decreased. A total of 76 thousand 354 shares have been traded worth 7 billion 56 crore 82 lakh 26 thousand rupees. 1 crore 55 lakh 72 thousand 862 shares were bought and sold on Sunday. 

Out of the total 13 subgroups, only business and mutual funds declined. Trades fell by 11.33 points and mutual funds by 0.15 percent. On Sunday, life insurance increased by 114.33, non-life insurance by 96.65, hotel and tourism by 91.08, hydropower by 53.45, finance by 51.43, others by 50.32, development bank by 45.49, manufacturing and processing by 41.99 points. Microfinance increased by 30.59, banking by 11.19 and investment by 2.33 points. 

Joshi Hydropower's share price increased by 9.94%, Dordikhola Hydropower's 6.59%, Kumari Sabal Yojana's 6.39%, Gurans Microfinance's 5.95% and Tehrathum Power Company's 5.87%. Investors in Prabhu Smart Fund, Sayapatri Hydropower, Community Microfinance, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) and 10 per cent Nepal SBI Bank Debenture 2086 lost the value of their assets. 

Himalayan Re-Insurance, Nepal Re-Insurance Company, NRN Infrastructure and Development Bank, CEDB Holdings, Guardian Micro Life Insurance were ahead in terms of turnover. 

According to NEPSE, shares of Himalayan Re-Insurance 690 million 1977 thousand, Nepal Re-Insurance Company 4784 million 82 thousand, NRN Infrastructure and Development Bank 396 million 850 thousand, CEDB Holdings 24 million 10 million 34 thousand and Guardian Micro Life Insurance 17 million 94 million 11 thousand rupees have been traded.
