Hitendradev Shakya, Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, has said that within two weeks, the problem of lead shedding in the industry will be solved. On Tuesday, while taking charge of the authority, Shakya said that even if electricity is brought from India, load shedding will not be allowed.

In Monday's cabinet meeting, the outgoing executive director Kulman Ghising was removed and Shakya was appointed. He recalled that despite the rumors of load-shedding even in the dry season of 2077, he also presented the data of quality electricity distribution compared to 075 and 076.

'From India  Even if it is by bringing electricity, load shedding 077  Even in the year load shedding was not done in the industry, even though the authority's profit was reduced at that time  Because that year electricity had to be brought in a large percentage from India,' he said, 'Now 12 to 14 hours loadshedding is being done only in industry. I will show the result within one to two weeks

Genji said that the current generation should learn to call quality electricity rather than load shedding. A standard should be made so that there is no tripping more than one day a year in any industry," he said. "Loadshedding is not our issue. Reliable electricity is our issue.'

Even in the electricity arrears dispute in dedicated and trunk line, Shakya recommendations from the quasi-judicial body technical  Said to find a solution . 'Recommendations have already come from the quasi-judicial body, We will find a technical solution to that procedural matter,' he said, 'We need fairness to solve it technically. I think I can give that . I will solve it technically rather than politically.'

Saying that the country is currently in crisis in terms of energy, Shakya said that there are both challenges and opportunities for him. 'This is an opportunity for me. Had it before but it broke in the middle . Now I got it again,' he said, 'There are financial problems to build new projects. The authority and the government have a financial challenge to meet the government's target of producing 28 thousand megawatts in ten years . I have taken it as a challenge.'

The Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government appointed Kulman as the executive director of the authority for the second time on July 26, 2078. Shakya was transferred to the Water and Energy Commission with special category facilities.

'Last time when I was appointed as the executive director of the authority, I was given a period of 4 years and my responsibility ended before 6 months,' he said, 'Even though I went to court for justice, that appointment period ended on January 25. The government of Nepal told me that my justification was over and that I had received justice from the court. I feel that I have received justice in being re-appointed to this responsibility .

He said that with 33 years of experience and technical managerial experience and efficiency in the energy transmission and distribution sector, he will start the work he wanted to do then.
