The Indo-Nepal International Trade Fair has started from Friday. The fair was started with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Kanchanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the fair, along with Nepalese handicrafts, various types of domestic products are kept.

Palpali Dhaka, rudraksha garlands, different types of clothes and items made from amaranth leaves, Vijaysal pots and different types of clothes made from aloes are kept. In Dehradun, where there is a majority of Gorkhalis, Nepali handicrafts and products produced in small and medium industries have attracted everyone's attention. Around a hundred stalls of Nepali and Indian products are kept in the fair. In which there are 50 Nepali stalls. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Puskar Singh Dhami inaugurated the

fair. He said that this type of fair will further enhance the relationship between the two countries. "This will benefit both economically and culturally and in the tourism sector," said Chief Minister Dhami.

He said that he will take initiatives to increase the opening time of the Banbasa bridge and implement various other projects due to various problems in the border area. Speaking in both Hindi and Nepali languages, he said that since the relationship between the two countries is incomparable, everyone should contribute to take it to a higher level. 

Former Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province Rajendrasinh Rawal and members of the Provincial Assembly were also present at the opening ceremony. The fair was organized in collaboration with Gorkha Kalyan Samiti along with industry and commerce. In Dehradun, Kanchanpur Industry and Commerce Association has been conducting the fair since before the corona virus infection. This fair is the third.

"Along with the promotion of Nepali products, the fair has created a relationship between the businessmen of the two countries," said Pitambar Joshi, president of the Kanchanpur Industry and Commerce Association. He said that the fair will be continued in the coming days as well. The fair will last for 5 days. 

Businessmen have arrived from different districts of Nepal with their products.
