Jayapati Agricultural Firm and DV Excels have signed an agreement to provide unsecured loans of up to 2 lakh rupees to 100 farmers of Kamdhenu Dairy through NIMBS Bank.

A memorandum of understanding was signed in connection with the conference held on Wednesday in Biratnagar under the joint project of Adhyanta Fund Management, Nepal Market Development Program, Swiss Contact and Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Koshi Province.  In the

event, 7 entrepreneurs from the fields of agriculture, digital service providers and tourism presented their business plans to investors.

Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of Koshi Province Ram Bahadur Magar while inaugurating the program said that the development of enterprises is not possible without investment and asserted that the state government is trying to address this issue through investment conference.  Manoj Paudel, co-founder and director of

Adhyanta, said that the company has so far invested around Rs 82 crore in various businesses in the Koshi region and is still seeing great opportunities in this sector.

Rajendra Raut, President of Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce, Koshi Province, mentioned that the Business Growth Center established in the Federation under the Accelerator Program will provide direct support to enterprises seeking business development services.
