Contracts have been invited on Tuesday for the 8.5 km section from Dalabesi to Char Saybesi of Kavre section under BP highway. Suman Yogesh, Head of Road Division Bhaktapur said that the construction period will be two years. After 6 months of flood damage, a contract has been invited for the permanent reconstruction of the road in this section.
"We are preparing to award the contract for the 11 km section from Char Saybesi to Bhakundebesi within a few days," he said, "We are preparing for the contract for the 3.5 km section from Dalabesi to Barkhekhola, but whether to give the construction of this section to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), but no decision has been made by JICA." He said that the process will be started by calling for contracts. Earlier, the contract for the permanent road construction in the Sindhuli section has been finalized in the first phase.
