Bharatraj Acharya has been nominated as the Treasurer of Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Federation president Chandra Prasad Dhakal nominated Acharya as the treasurer on Wednesday.
The post was vacant due to the completion of the 18-month tenure of the previous Treasurer Nirak KC. Acharya will take over the remainder of the treasurer's term, which has been vacant for a long time.
Earlier, Acharya has served as the Chairman of the Federation's Industry Committee and the Co-Chairman of the Employers' Council and a member of the Standing Committee. Acharya has been associated with the federation for more than a decade.
