Stakeholders have pointed out that for the sustainable future of Nepal's industrial sector, emphasis on solar energy, energy storage solutions and decarbonization is indispensable.

In the 'Solar PV and Energy Storage Dialogue' organized by Huawei Digital Power Nepal in collaboration with Confederation of Nepal Industries (CNI), the speakers held the view that clean energy technology needs to be prioritized. 

More than 80 representatives from the energy, business and industrial sectors discussed the possibilities and strategies of Nepal's green energy promotion in an event held at the Huawei Exhibition Center in Hattisar, Kathmandu. Solar photovoltaic systems and energy storage solutions were discussed in the program.  At the

event, Huawei unveiled its 'Fusion Solar C&I Oasis Solution'. This includes high capacity energy storage systems . The company claims that these technologies will be useful for Nepali industry to reduce energy costs and improve reliability of supply. Jim Huang, CEO of Huawei Nepal, presented an optimistic view of Nepal's energy future. "We are clear in our goal of reducing carbon footprint and building a green energy system by adopting sustainable solutions through collaboration and innovation," he said.

Ashish Garg, Chairman of Energy Development Council of Nepal Industry Confederation, said that the future of Nepal's industrial sector depends on solar energy, energy storage solutions and decarbonization. Birendraraj Pandey, the senior vice president of the confederation, said, "Cooperation between Huawei and local industry is important to promote renewable energy." Shubalakshmi Shrestha, deputy director of alternative energy promotion center, Dinesh Dulal, head of sustainable energy banking at NMB Bank, Madhusudan Adhikari, member of Electricity Regulatory Commission, also presented their views in the

program.
