It has been emphasized that the stakeholders should combine the knowledge, skills and capital of workers who have returned from foreign employment with entrepreneurship to increase production.

Participating in the final dialogue of the Labor and Employment Conference organized by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, the speakers said that easy access should be made to the financial sector to connect workers who have returned from abroad with entrepreneurship.

President of Non-Resident Nepali Association Badri KC said that out of 65 billion earned by Nepalis living abroad, only 14 billion is coming to Nepal. Nepali communities in Europe, America and Australia are ready to bring all that money to Nepal. They are ready to bring not only money, but also skills from there," he said. In order to use citizenship with economic, social and cultural rights, we must also be disciplined.

South Asia Trade Union Regional Committee Secretary General Laxman Basnet said that it is necessary to bring financial literacy programs to workers who have returned from abroad. If remittances do not come to Nepal, the economy of Nepal will not function. It is the government's responsibility to create an environment for migrant workers who have played such an important role to live with their families,' he said, 'for this, effective services should be provided from the local level for the development of entrepreneurship.' Madhusika Lansakar, program manager of the

Remi project, said that Nepal is running the program at the local level by prioritizing reintegration. Reintegration is an important cycle of labor migration. It should be made an integral part of the labor agreement,” she said. At the

conference, Mahesh Swar, Chief Executive Officer of Kantipur Media Group, said that the media played an important role in rehabilitating the laborers who returned from abroad in Nepal. People who have come back have started doing business here. They don't even have technical knowledge. And, they may not know where to get the services they get. If such people can be connected with the service delivery mechanism, their productivity will increase. In this area too, work can be done through the media," he said.

Muktinath Bank Chief Executive Officer Pradhumna Pokharel said that it is necessary for the banking sector to provide not only financial services but also non-banking services. 56 million people have deposit accounts. The loan account is only 19 lakhs. "In order to increase internal employment and increase productivity, investment should be increased in the agriculture sector the most," he said. According to labor expert Ganesh Gurung, who presided over the

session, 500 people are returning to Nepal every day. "There is a need for a plan for workers who come to Nepal with capital, knowledge, feeling for the nation and skills to be established in the internal labor market," he said.
