A potato exhibition fair will be held in Jumla on Tuesday. A potato exhibition fair is going to be held at the Krishna Mandir in the headquarters of Khalanga.

According to District Agricultural Development Office Jumla, potatoes are cultivated for three months and six months in Jumla. statistics, last year, potatoes were cultivated in an area of ​​2,245 hectares. In the financial year 080/081, potatoes were cultivated in an area of ​​two thousand 245 hectares. From which 34 thousand 450 metric tons of potatoes were produced. 

In the current financial year, 35 thousand 930 metric tons of potatoes have been produced in an area of ​​2,290 hectares. Although there is a lot of potato production in the season, there is a shortage of potatoes in the off-season.
