Trump's policy caused a stir in the world market: Economist Paudel

Economist Vishwa Paudel has said that the latest decision made by US President Donald Trump has caused a stir in the world market. His analysis is that Trump is trying to go against the international rules and norms started by the US in the past in terms of world trade.

President Trump's recent decisions have given a clear message that many facilities were given to other countries for doing business before, but now they will be reduced, Paudel told Kantipur, adding that if customs are imposed on imports from other countries, inflation will increase in America. It seems that Trump thinks that he will increase investment, increase employment and increase salaries and allowances at the same time. Poudel also says that Trump wants to start his new regime by disagreeing with many decisions made by previous rulers.

According to economist Paudel, Trump's new trade policy will not affect Nepal much. "The decision of America will not have a big impact on Nepal because we have not been able to sell goods even after providing facilities for a long time," he added, "it seems that the entry of Nepalis into America and the Nepalese who are there will also suffer. It seems that opportunities such as scholarships and DVs for studies will shrink."
