Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising said that instead of encouraging them, they are trying to discourage and punish them.

Based on the decision of the Cabinet, Ghisingh has written that he is saddened during the three-day explanation of why Ghisingh was not removed through the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.

Ghising has written in his reply submitted to the Council of Ministers through the Ministry of Energy on Sunday that they are trying to punish the loss-making organization even if 99 percent of the country is electrified. 'After I took the leadership of the executive director, load shedding ended, 99 percent electrification, loss-making organizations were brought to continuous profit, effectively controlled leakages, managed to earn significant foreign currency by exporting electricity to India and Bangladesh, succeeded in increasing the power generation, transmission and distribution capacity by four times, and led to the provision of electricity services at subsidized tariff rates to various classes of citizens. I am very sad,' replied Kulman.

Ghising has written that since he answered according to the decision of the Cabinet, he should not be removed from his position and any action mentioned in the letter should not be taken.

Ghising has said that Energy Minister Deepak Khadka took action based on bias and misled the Cabinet.
