Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has instructed not to propose plans and programs smaller than 3 crore rupees for the budget of the financial year 2082/083.
In a separate discussion program with the Ministry of Water Supply and the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration regarding the preparation of the budget for the financial year 2082/083, Finance Minister Poudel asked to come out of numerous plans and programs. He emphasized on the need to propose big transformative and national priority projects and programs with preparedness.
Minister of Finance Poudel said that their role should be increased in the programs that can be done by the state and local levels, and even though the state and He also said that projects and programs within the scope of the local level should be transferred.
Water Minister Pradeep Yadav, Federal Affairs Minister Rajkumar Gupta, National Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Shivraj Adhikari, Finance Secretary, Revenue Secretary, Water supply secretary, federal affairs secretary, department heads and others participated. The Ministry of Finance has already discussed with the Ministry of Physical, Urban, Energy, Health and Industry regarding the preparation of the budget for the financial year 2082/083.
