Cathay Pacific Airlines, which is connecting Nepal with Australia and Japan via Hong Kong, is going to fly every seven days.

Cathay announced that it will fly seven days for the first time through a program in Kathmandu on Tuesday. Earlier, it was flying Hong Kong-Kathmandu 5 days a week. It has been serving this route with widebody aircraft. Nepal Airlines Corporation flies on this route two days a week.

Nepali passengers will get discounted tickets with additional flights and easy air connectivity for Hong Kong and other destinations. Rakesh Raikar, Cathay's regional general manager of South Asia, Middle East and Africa, said that Cathay's Nepal flights are valuable for the region and will be involved in Cathay flights with new opportunities from 2025 onwards.

Last time, Cathay awarded Nepali businessmen involved in passenger and cargo services with Cathay. Among them were Osho World Travel, Bon Travel and Tours, Seven Star International, Sealink and Prabhas Travel and Tours Pvt Ltd. Similarly, Pioneer, Sangrila International, GMK, Himalayan and Rising Star Cargo did the best business in terms of cargo.
