The construction of the Nagadhunga-Sisnekhola tunnel, which has been halted since Monday, will resume from Wednesday.
It was agreed to proceed with the construction work after the talks held at the road department on Tuesday between the project and the obstructing locals.
Some houses near the road side service station under construction towards Sisnekhola in Dhading were cracked and the locals stopped the work demanding compensation. According to Sanjay Panthi, engineer of Nagadhunga-tunnel construction project, it has been agreed to protect the structures in the road side service station area.
