The electricity of the 12 MW Super Kabeli hydropower project built in Sirijanga rural municipality has been connected to the national transmission line since Thursday.

The electricity produced by Hilton Hydro Energy Limited is connected to the national transmission line through the Amarpur substation in Panchthar. 132 kV transmission line from Amarpur to Dubichaur substation of Nepal Electricity Authority. This is the electricity produced from Kabeli River.

The construction period of this project started from January 25, 2079 till Chait 10, 2081. Meghnath Dhungana, public relations officer of the project, said that it was produced a month ago and connected to the national transmission line. The total cost of the project is 2 billion 143.8 million. Of the total cost of the

project, 75 percent of the cost is shared by banks including Rashtriya Commerce, led by NMB Bank Limited. The intake of the project is at Sirijanga rural municipality-8 Yamfudin and the power house is at Otham of Sirijanga-7 Khewang.
