More than 60 million turnover at Nepalgunj festival

A turnover of 6 crores was done in the Provincial Festival-2081 conducted in Nepalgunj. According to the data collected by the festival data committee from the stall traders, the turnover of Rs.

Tank Bahadur Dhami, president of the association, said that there was a turnover of more than 60 million during the festival, which was held from 10th to 24th of January. He said that the transaction amount will increase as the transaction information is yet to come from some stalls. 

The festival, which was held for 14 days, was observed by two lakh people from Banke and Bardia. According to the businessmen, the business at the festival has helped the economic activities of this region to become sustainable. 

In the festival which took place after a long time, organic products from Karnali and domestic products were bought and sold. Surkrishna Vaidya, the district city vice president of Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that since the private sector is working hard day and night to strengthen the country's economic situation, the government should also support it.  At the

festival, the audience was most attracted to the songs, dances and other cultural programs presented by national and local artists on a daily basis for the preservation of art and culture.
