Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has said that the government is solving the problems in the economy in installments.
Speaking at the 28th anniversary ceremony of Nepal Chartered Accountants Institute (ICON), Finance Minister Poudel said. He said that the government wants to solve the problems seen in the economy in installments. He said that the government is trying to increase investment, production, employment and attract foreign investment in the country by making the economy viable.
Paudel said that even though the government has worked hard to make economic activities fully dependent on digital technology, it has not been able to move forward in terms of current new technologies. He said that the government has not yet been able to improve the tax system of Nepal as desired and requested that Nepal Chartered Accountants should provide necessary support for the improvement. "The government has not been able to improve the tax system as desired." Tax evasion is being done . No businessmen have been able to make such a law that they cannot evade tax . The government has a lot of work to do in terms of not helping any employee to evade taxes and establishing it based on justification . I want to demand cooperation with the government for a higher increase in revenue by reforming the tax system,' he said.
Finance Minister Paudel said that work should be done to advance Nepal's capital market in a sustainable, reliable and trustworthy manner. "You can play a role in preventing any kind of cheating from entering the capital market in a sustainable, reliable and trustworthy manner." I expect help in that direction as well . The government has been managing the economic transactions digitally,' he said, 'the government has not been able to move forward in a way that it can fully depend on digital technology to make the economic activities fully dependent on digital technology.'
