The National Planning Commission is about to organize and update the project bank. In a press conference held on Thursday to provide information on topical issues, National Planning Commission Vice Chairman Shivraj Adhikari informed that the project bank is going to be organized and updated.
'The number of projects in the project bank is too high, the resources are scattered creating difficulty in maintaining the efficient use of resources,' he said, 'The projects are not clearly defined, most of the activities are listed in the project bank, but many of these projects are without preparation. He said that since the number of projects has increased unnecessarily, he is working to organize and update the project bank. He also said that the project bank standards are being updated under this.
The National Planning Commission is managing and analyzing the project by adopting two major strategies. "First the right actions must be taken, it focuses on choosing priority projects. Second, it should be implemented properly, it emphasizes to make the implementation process efficient and effective,' said the official .
