The private sector has responded that the government's recent law amendment is welcome. Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Nepal Confederation of Industries issued a statement saying that the amendments made in the law to improve the economic and business environment are welcome.

"The Confederation welcomes the recent amendments to the laws to improve the economic and business environment in the country, increase investment and provide good governance in the delivery of public services," the statement said. Government economic and commercial 

A total of 24 laws were amended, including 13 through an ordinance to amend some Nepal laws related to environmental improvement and investment enhancement, 11 through an ordinance to amend some Nepal laws related to good governance promotion and public service delivery. 

The private sector mentioned that this amendment will help to increase investment in the country. "The ordinance brought by the government is positive for economic and business environment  and investment enhancement," said a statement issued by the chamber. The chamber also drew the attention of the government to conclude the ordinance by the winter session of the parliament saying that the ordinance is important to end the stagnation of the economy.
