Associations of banks and financial institutions have objected to the chaotic activities against banking in recent months. According to which, Bankers Association, Development Backers Association and Financial Institutions Association issued a joint statement on Friday and said that they have drawn their attention to the activities organized in some branches of various banks including Siraha District, Lahan branch of Agricultural Bikas Bank.

"Our serious attention has been drawn to the activities such as lockouts, stone pelting and rioting in the bank, targeting the employees working in the bank, in social networks and mass media, and false and confusing news and banking services which are under the essential services have been stopped and hampered the daily work," said the statement. 'Due to this action, customers have been deprived of the right to use banking services.' And they are doing activities such as deposit collection, loan disbursement and recovery under various laws. It is mentioned in the statement that it is never appropriate to create obstacles in such a way that sensitive services like banking are blocked, even though the customers can go to the legal process according to the rules, in case they are not satisfied with the process including the auctions conducted by these organizations.

After taking a loan from any bank/financial and microfinance institution, there is no doubt that paying the loan principal/installment regularly is the first obligation of the borrower. Associations have urged people to be aware of this, as it is chaotic to say that they will not pay after taking loans from banks and financial institutions under various conditions, this type of activity is not in anyone's interest and it can create an uncomfortable environment and have a negative impact on economic activities.

In addition to requesting all customers and the general public not to pay any attention to false and misleading comments on social networks, the associations have also requested to take only the information/news communicated by the concerned agencies as official.

They have also requested the government agencies to take necessary action by bringing those who frighten the general public, disturb the society, give wrong and objectionable expressions to the law.
