Applications are open for the chairmanship of Nepal Insurance Authority, the regulatory body of the insurance sector. The President Recommendation Committee formed under the coordination of Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission Shiv Prasad Adhikari has called for applications for the Chairman of the Authority on Friday.
Time has been set to apply within 15 days of the publication of the notification for the person who has reached the specified qualifications for the post of chairman.
For President, at least postgraduate or managerial work experience in insurance, monetary, banking, commerce, management, public administration, statistics, mathematics, economics or law, with at least five years of experience in the relevant field, with high moral character, at least thirty years of age and less than sixty-five years of age, corruption, money laundering, human trafficking, drug dealing, antiquities or protected wildlife offenses or other criminal offenses showing moral turpitude Eligibility including non-applicable has been specified.
The recommendation committee has opened the application to fill the post through open competition. Eligible and interested candidates should apply to the Financial Sector Management and Coordination Division of the Ministry of Finance along with necessary documents.
