Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising has said that there is a group of people who rejoice when there is load shedding in the country.
Speaking at the general meeting and convention of the Nepal Infrastructure Journalists Association on Friday, he said that the Jamaat who rejoices at loadshedding is growing. He said that it was the Jamaat that spread the rumor of loadshedding.
He said that there was a problem in the distribution of hydropower for a few hours due to technical reasons in the projects, not loadshedding. He claimed that the loadshedding problem will be solved as soon as Upper Tamakoshi and Kaligandaki are built.
He insisted that only a few industry lines were cut during the busy time and made the citizens comfortable at that time. He said that the entrepreneurs complained that the electricity was cut off at that busy time.
He said, "Major development projects are being done in the upstream areas of Nepal". Lights and roads have been developed. Which is the basis of our large infrastructure development . There is going to be a big development in Nepal's electricity sector. This requires a large investment.'
He At the loss of authority He said that there are many beneficiaries. He mentioned that the businessmen have to pay the amount of electricity used by the industry by putting the people on load shedding and there is no option for that.
