Naubise-Mughlin road partially closed from 7th to 13th December

Naubise-Muglin section under Prithvi Highway will be partially closed from 7th to 13th December. Ashok Devkota, Assistant Resident Engineer of Nagadhunga-Mugling Road Plan West Section, said that the road is going to be partially closed for the improvement of the rock cutting mode at Pokhrebhir and Vishaltar in Naubise-Muglin section.

It is stated in the notification jointly issued by the District Traffic Police Office, Dhading, that the construction work will be carried out with partial stoppage of vehicles from 11 am to 2 pm.

'The highway is going to be partially closed due to the request and coordination of the office because the soil of the hill has to be cut,' Devkota said. Dhading district administration office said that during that period, except for ambulances and security agencies, the operation of vehicles was prohibited. 

In order to improve the mode of Pokhrebhir, during that period, heavy vehicles passing through Gajuri from Naubise will be stopped at Galchi-Baireni and light vehicles will be stopped at Zarekhet. Heavy vehicles entering Nowbise from Malekhu will be diverted and light vehicles will be stopped at Ghatbensi.

To improve the route of Vishaltar, heavy vehicles entering Malekhu from Muglin will be stopped at Mazhimtar and light vehicles will be stopped at Charaundi Bazar. 

Heavy vehicles entering Muglin from Malekhu will be stopped at Benighat and light vehicles at Vishaltar. The notice mentions that the partially halted vehicles will leave only after 2 pm.

The District Traffic Police Office Dhading has also requested to maintain lane discipline while driving and not to overtake indiscriminately when vehicles are queued.
