According to the "Nepali Migrant Dreams in the American Landscape" study published by the Center for Comprehensive Development Studies (IIDS) on Tuesday, 1.28 billion dollars of remittances from America entered Nepal in 2023. This is 12 percent of the total remittances .

The remittance sent by Nepalis in Qatar is on an average of 1,327 dollars per person, while an average of 3,361 dollars from Saudi Arabia and 2,876 dollars from Malaysia are sent to Nepal.
