The road department has said that it is studying about starting the construction work quickly. The director general of the department, Ramhari Pokharel, said that the final report would be prepared within 15 days and then the construction work would begin after securing resources from the government. It is estimated to cost about 7 billion rupees for its construction.

The 12 km road of Kavrevanjang-Nepalthok section has been damaged by landslides . Its 8.7 km road section is washed away by the Roshi River. At present, temporary diversions have been made and the means of transport have been operated . But due to the high volume of traffic, daily traffic jams are a problem. More than 7 thousand vehicles pass through this road a day. Due to the one-way traffic in difficult sections, there are more traffic jams . There are preparations to make a bridge to straighten the road in the places where there are various difficulties and problems.
