On Sunday, the first day of weekly trading, the NEPSE index decreased by 9.19 points to 2,617.95 points. NEPSE, which had decreased continuously on the previous two trading days, followed the same trend on Sunday as well.
Out of those that came into trading on Sunday, the share price of 91 companies increased while 141 companies decreased. Share prices of remaining 11 companies are stable.
On that day, 1 crore 11 lakh 34 thousand 178 shares were bought and sold in 56 thousand 646 transactions. Shares worth 4 billion 73 billion 24 lakh rupees have been traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has also decreased. Among the 13 sub-groups in
business, banking, development bank, investment, production and processing, production and processing, microfinance, collective investment fund, non-life insurance and others indices decreased. The index of the rest of the subgroups increased.
