Most of the river fields, fields and tars are planted in paddy fields and it is time for flowers to bloom. But in some parts of Nisdi, Madi, Tinau along with Rampur district, paddy has not been sown, nor have flowers grown on the paddy fields. The rice crop of hundreds of plantations was destroyed overnight due to white fly and gavaro disease. As a result, the farmers who are preparing to plant mano and grow muri are now worried.

Yuvraj Adhikari of Rampur Municipality-6, Majhtol became worried that the paddy planted in the 10-plant area should be green. He said that he was standing when he had to thresh rice and play with flowers.

'My plan was to cultivate 30 muri of paddy,' he said, 'Now I am worried whether I will be able to bring in even 5 muri.' It is dried vertically.  Not only the

officer, Shanti Dotel of the same village is also in the same situation. The paddy leaves planted in the fields have already turned yellow. There has been a situation where all the rice in the field is damaged by the white butterfly. "After the small white butterflies settled, the entire paddy has grown overnight," he said, "It has not been able to penetrate, nor has it become full of flowers."

Rampur district known as granary  Paddy has grown overnight in an area of about 2,000 plantations. According to the agriculture branch, the outbreak of white butterfly has also been observed in some places of Madi Fant and Tinau in the district. Yam Bahadur Chidi, chairman of Mathagadhi Rural Municipality, said that the farmers complained that the rice was red during the time of sowing and flowering in some parts. Farmers are worried after the outbreak of the main food crop rice. Maniram Adhikari, a farmer of Rampur municipality-6, said that the concern about the decrease in production has increased after the outbreak.

He said that during threshing the rice turns yellow and turns red and dries vertically. As a result, production will decrease, he said. According to the Vijayapur Agricultural Cooperative Society, among the rice used for seed production, there is a problem in Savitri variety rice. The cooperative has planted 8 hectares of Savitri in Vijaypur and Pakluk areas and 7 hectares of Satbise area for Hardinath-6 seeds. Farmers complain that there is a problem with Sabitri variety rice than Hardinath.

In the last three years, problems have started to appear in some places in the Rampur area. From the beginning of August, there were more outbreaks of white butterflies and moths in Rampur Municipality-4, 5, 6 and 7. After the outbreak began to appear, the municipality started a campaign to spread pesticides for management. According to Shanti Dotel of Rampur Municipality-6, advanced varieties have been planted for the purpose of producing more grains. But now she said that she is forced to hold her head when the white butterfly causes damage.

'Small moths have eaten the leaves at night,' she said, 'The damaged rice crop has withered and straw has become unusable.' She said that a lot of damage was done. Narayan Bhandari, a farmer of Rampur-5, said that this disease, which has been seen in previous years, has been a problem in a large area this year.

Rampur municipality agriculture branch chief Narayan Prasad Gayre said that many outbreaks were seen in Savitri and hybrid varieties of rice. According to him, the agriculture branch has tried to control the damage of the small butterfly species in the farmer's field by deploying agricultural technicians after on-site observation.

"After reaching the paddy fields, the farmers have been provided training and management methods along with medicines for treatment," he said, "but there has not been as much control as expected." As soon as the problem appeared, the problem of the outbreak in treated rice has been solved. Even the places where there are many problems have gradually improved and become green.'

But the farmers said that even in the places where the rice was planted and the flowers were planted, the grains were not full due to the disease. The butterfly of this species usually lives on the back surface of the leaf. The growth and damage of this insect is more common in hot season than in cold season. An adult white butterfly produces up to 150 white flowers at a time. Its baby stays attached to the leaves for one to three weeks after hatching.

In Palpa, 8 thousand 210 hectares of land has been cultivated annually. Farmers have been cultivating advanced varieties and hybrid varieties of rice. Under advanced and hybrid, farmers have been planting Sanwa Mansuli, Radha, Khumal, Basmati, US 312, Savitri, Hardinath varieties of paddy.
