Food products produced by farmers in the village have been branded and delivered to the market. Panini's wax, Dhatiwang's potatoes, Khilji's honey and groundnuts, corn husks, wheat flour, ginger, turmeric, millet, pickled dishes, vegetables and other food items were collected and sent to the market.
Two months ago, food items were collected from the village and sold through the Saathi Multipurpose Cooperative Industry Sales Center, which was opened by Saathi Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited in Chutraveshi. Mustard has been purchased from villages and Terai and the oil has been filtered and sold.
"We buy village produce and do packaging, branding, grading, leveling and threading," Dharmaraj Bhusal, secretary of Saathi Multipurpose said, "we bought and sold twenty quintals of potatoes from Dhatiwang". We have purchased 25 quintals of millet flour and 250 muri of rice and pounded it into rice brads. We have asked the farmers of the villages to produce it.
The sales center operated with an investment of 97 lakh rupees has a daily turnover of one lakh . He said that in the first phase, the goal is to purchase and brand the products of the village and sell them in the headquarters market and then deliver them to Butwal market.
'We reach the village and buy the products of Raithane crops including millet, wheat, fapar, barley, wheat, milk, timur, herbs,' said Prakash Bhusal, advisor and planner of Saathi Cooperative. We run a campaign that we will buy. By encouraging the farmers to produce grain, fruits and vegetables in the barren fields in the village, we will also create self-employment for the youth in the village and deliver organic food items to the people living in the market.
He said that the goal is to deliver products produced from fresh, healthy and healthy crops to the market.
There are currently eight employees working in the sales center, which has a machine for grinding grain crops including mustard and paddy. He said that he would search for and buy whatever products are produced in the village, including corn, millet, wheat, potatoes, and rice. He said that along with the purchase of products, he is also studying for marketing. Bhusal, who is also the president of the District Cooperative Association, said, "We buy products and brand them according to the demand in the market."
Saathi Sahakari's sales center, which has been in the food market since two months ago, has been officially operational since Monday. Inaugurating the center, the head of Sandhikhark municipality, Krishna Prasad Shrestha, said that when people's health is deteriorating due to the inedible products available in the market, if the customers buy the fresh products produced in the village carefully, not only will they be able to eat, but the farmers who produce them will also get a good price.
"The worry that the product did not get the market price has disappeared," he said, "This should bring competition to the youth in agricultural enterprises and make hundreds of self-employed ." Now the demand for food products produced by Raithanebali is increasing in the market.
He said that the municipality will help in the production of food products such as timur, cinnamon, corn, wheat, millet, and pulses in the fields without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
